How God’s Rest (GR) Fulfills This Ministry?
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit never intended that we should strive by our human efforts to achieve His will. God is the one who refreshes our spirit and God’s Rest provides a physical home for his children to do so. GR provides housing , food, and other necessities in a home setting instead of an institution atmosphere. A home environment is the most conducive for providing a healthy, healing environment. Michael and Trish Pinckert’s home in Humble, Texas is the first implementation of GR’s ministry. The Lord has also provided a direction for a ‘hospitality house’ to be located in the Hill Country of Texas and a search is currently in process for the right location and home. God’s Rest is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. No salaries are paid and all participation in the ministry is voluntary.

All people that GR helps are by personal referral only. Please confer with God’s Rest before referring a person to any of the locations. Many people are in physical, emotional, and spiritual need. God’s Rest (GR) is a haven for those who need a refreshing from God, who learn to rest in Him in a comfortable home setting. The love of Jesus can meet the needs of all in every situation.
